[How to Unsubscribe] [More on Lists and Subscribing] [Back to Current Conditions section]

Many avalanche and snowpack bulletins are available via mailing list. Click to subscribe, and you will then receive every bulletin for that region as it is released.

This is a members benefit . Members can log into the website and subscribe/unsubscribe to/from as many lists as they want to at once, on a single form with no confirmation emails. Subscribing and unsubscribing by email is still self-serve, so go ahead and try it out for a while if you would like! But over time you will receive several notices if you have not contributed, and will ultimately be removed.

More Info on the Lists and Subscribing

When using the web interface to subscribe make sure your e-mail address is correct. If you do not receive the list new-subscriber info and confirmation e-mail shortly you may have entered your mail address incorrectly. Also note that the list program, Major Domo, does not like extra characters (including spaces) or html e-mail. If you use direct e-mail and not the web interface be sure your mail program is not sending html formatted mail.

Please save the introductory message since it tells you how to unsubscribe, and other info about the majordomo list program. You can also unsubscribe here and using the web interface.
Once you contribute you can also access a direct online form to subscribe or unsubscribe from any of our lists without a confirmation e-mail requirement.

If you have any questions or problems please contact the CSAC. The government operated avalanche centers which issue the bulletins will not subscribe or unsubscribe you and most likely will not even reply to such requests.

These lists are restricted to accept only bulletins for distribution. You will not receive anything else by subscribing. No SPAM should get through. We do send special notices and announcements out to this list, typically a few times per year. These mailings pertain to the running of the list systems or the CSAC and are not commercial in nature.

"No Fine Print" Privacy Policy - We do not sell, trade, or otherwise distribute e-mail addresses from our lists, or from any other source. Since we operate our own list server your e-mail address is not subject to anyone elses privacy policy.
