The listed schools and instructors have helped support the CSAC this season. Please consider their commitment to public educational resources when choosing a course.

We are only able to list those programs which support our work with a minimum of $35. Of the few who do support our work most have contributed more than that, and the majority are owned and operated by AMGA/IFMGA certified guides. If you appreciate the resources this site offers please consider that these programs help make it possible. All contact information is current for this season.

Providers - How to get your program and your courses listed

Once upon a time we dumped a large resource list onto the website. Over time we had to remove some entries because they were obsolete or irrelevant to avalanche education. Then one winter we asked for volunteers who would keep the list for their region up to date and check the contact information annually, a task which isn't particularly difficult. But nobody was willing to do this. We also began listing courses in a searchable database, which is unique and offers good exposure. Unfortunately very few programs are willing to contribute to our public service nonprofit for this. So we are now able to list only those programs which do support our work with a minimum of $35. This is not a large amount if you are at all successful as a business. If you would like to be included in our listings please contact us by email.
