Vermont Fatality, 2005

This gully in Vermont is steep and icy, and a skier attempting it died when a small avalanche swept him off his stance. He was stopped at the time but was knocked over. There is a very detailed report and more photos in the Incident database. It's the only one from Vermont and was Feb 2005.
