Snowfall Expected Next 24 Hours: 0" G E N E R A L - A V A L A N C H E - A D V I S O R Y The General Avalanche Hazard at Upper elevations is CONSIDERABLE. Fifteen inches of new snow ending Sunday were driven by strong west-southwest winds creating slabs to three feet in depth. Lee slopes under higher ridge crests, under cliff bands or chutes where increased loading has occurred, or steep roll overs should be avoided. At Mid elevations the Hazard is MODERATE. Slabs to two feet in depth exist in steep, lee areas but may require larger triggers like multiple people on a slope. At Low elevations the hazard is LOW as avalanches are unlikely.
