Gift Certificates
Gift Certificates - use these for gifts and/or a general site-wide discount!
We used to offer certificates through a PayPal system they managed for customer. They ended that and we now offer this in-house.
The number of certificates of the chosen value can be increased on the next page after you click on the payment button.
We don't have the level of automation and tracking that PayPal has so there are some policies to be aware of:
- We will email a certificate as an attachment to the recipient specified or to the purchaser. This will generally be done promptly but it is not instantaneous. In the case of a recipient a copy will be included to the purchasing email.
- Please be sure to whitelist email from the domain @csac.org, any messages from us will come from this domain. You should not get spam spoofing this domain - we have properly implemeted spf and dkim records.
- The certificate must be used all at once on a single order. We do not track balances. If you are planning a major purchase like a Level 1 course or an ABS pack of some kind the larger denominations offer a better discount. If you may want to make multiple smaller purchases then smaller denominations will be better.
- If there is some reason that you will spend enough at one time but need to make multiple transactions let us know and we will work with that. For example courses and store purchases use separate payment check-outs.
- The gift certificate has an equivalent cash value for purchases only, and only on our website. They are not refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash or at any other seller online or off.
- The value can be applied to any transaction on our website. This includes the Avalanche Institute, the Avalanche Store, membership, and anything else.
