A good beginner's probe with a very low weight. This reasonably priced alternative still offers full functionality. Since the depth of burial is about 1 meter on average, the probe 200 has a sufficient length. With a 200 cm length the Economic weighs just 194 grams. This is achieved by an aluminum tube with a diameter of 11 mm. The probe is stretched classically with a screw cap, in which the Kevlar draw line is clamped. The burial depth can be read on the probe segments. Like all Ortovox probes, the 200 Economic is delivered with a practical quick-release cover. Ortovox Economic 200 Specifications:
